We celebrated Karen’s birthday at the Old Spaghetti Factory, one of our favorite restaurants.
I was reminded that I don’t know how to keep score in bowling. I’m thankful a computer keeps score automatically. We had a great time, though (Cross Creek Bible Church Men’s Ministry event)!
I finished reading The Amateur, a book about President Obama’s first term by Edward Klein. If half of what Klein writes is true, I have a much better understanding of where we are as a country and who Obama really is (and neither are pretty).
I discovered that pizza made with a cream cheese crust is very good. The recipe (Google it) is a keeper!
I was blessed to hear one of my professors from seminary, Dr. Bruce Ware, speak at the Spurgeon Fellowship at Western Seminary (even though the electricity went out early in the proceedings – Spurgeon Fellowship Unplugged!).
We were reminded how loved and appreciated we are by the congregation of Cross Creek Bible Church. The feeling is very mutual. We thank God upon every remembrance of you.
We enjoyed a great Thanksgiving with family, and did no Black Friday shopping (as usual).
I revelled in the fact that the Trail Blazers have a 13-4 record this month. Rip City!
